How do you hire and screen your Driver/Chauffeur’s?
At My Private Driver we truly understand the security, sensitivity, and trust of our clients. Therefore, we employ a third party investigative firm to perform national criminal background and personal profile check on each candidate. Our drivers must also pass a third party drug screening as well as have a verified clear driving record and pass our chauffeur road test.
What is the minimum time I can hire a driver?
We have a 3 hour minimum with no daily split shifts
Can I hire a driver on a full time or semi full time basis?
Yes, we can tailor a driver package to meet any of your needs.
How much does it cost to hire a personal Chauffeur/Driver?
Our rates are extremely competitive starting at $30.00 per hour (minimum service time applies)
Can I hire a driver to take me to and pickup me up from the airport?
Yes, we offer special packages designed specifically for our travel client
How do I make a reservation?
Simply call our office at (972) 245-1270 to make a reservation. One of our client specialist will make your reservation, gather any itinerary information and complete a brief client profile so that we are able to meet all your requirements and exceed your expectations.
What do I need to make a reservation?
Client contact information and address.
Vehicle(s) information (year, make, model, etc.)
Proof of current insurance coverage for stated vehicle (faxed in with reservation).
Itinerary including dates, times, event locations, etc.
Credit Card to guarantee your reservation.
What if I need to cancel my reservation?
Cancellations without financial penalty are allowed up to 24hours prior to the scheduled pickup date and time. Cancellations within the 24hours prior to the scheduled date and time are subject to a cancellation charge equal to 3 hours of service.
Will my driver run errands or fulfill special request or me (example: pickup flowers, dry cleaning, make reservations, pickup clients)?
Yes, of course, as long as it is within the boundaries of the law, it is considered part of our service and making sure any all your needs are met.
Why would I hire your driver/chauffer to drive me in my car over a hiring a limousine?
In addition to offering our clients a higher level of service with better chauffeur’s, we offer our clients a “niche fit” when there is not the need or desire for a limousine. Our service is obviously much less expensive and offers you the comfort and anonymity of your own vehicle without the ostentation of a limousine.
What if I am without a car?
We will be happy to make arrangements with one of our rental partners to fulfill your transportation needs be it standard or high end luxury. Call us for details.
How much lead time do I need in order to book your service?
We normally require a 12 hour notice etc; however, we can and will attempt to work on a shorter timetable, if possible.
Can I choose to drive a different vehicle other than the one specified at the time of reservation?
Yes, as long as the change is made prior to the “driver” arrival. You have the ability to register multiple vehicles with us at the time of reservation, which a number of our clients have chosen to do.
